WHY? to share the experience, and hopefully convince people they are not to be feared. not only that, but i noticed that some “group deal” sites have been charging people $30+ to do this…i also don’t want people getting ripped off.
WHERE?la jolla shores
COST? technically free. you either need to rent or buy your own snorkel gear. if you plan on going more than once, you might as well buy it….because its only $5-10 more than renting. you can buy gear at any sporting good store for $20-30.[with snorkel, mask, and fins] or you can rent from:http://www.sandiegobikeandkayaktours.com/beach_rentals.htmlhttp://www.lajollakayak.com/rentals#13again…its a lot cheaper just to buy your own gear, especially if you plan to go more than once. :]
